Here you'll find some information and tricks about the game.
WIFI PLAY:
The WIFI play section substitutes the trainer. In this section you can play WLAN games against other NEUTRON players through a WIFI network. To do this, all the devices must be on the same sub-network. You can use an already create infrastructure (like a router or access point)* or you can create a WLAN network from your PC or MAC.
* NOTE: some router or access points has problems to detect an other device on network. Don't be frustrated, try to exit from WIFI PLAY and re-enter or tap to RESCAN button.
Once your in the same network, the steps are as follows:
· First NEUTRON player how starts WIFI PLAY runs as MASTER.
· All other players can join the game by tapping on WIFI PLAY as RIVALS.
· If a RIVAL can't see an already created game just tap on RESCAN button, or try to exit and create your own game.
· The MASTER can set up the ROUNDS to PLAY, select an STAGE and his pod's color. Also he is has the directive to START a game, EXIT from a game or play the NEXT ROUND.
· RIVALS can exit from a game when a round is finished.
A maximum o 4 players can play in the same network. And you will be able to play against NEUTRON LITE players.
NEUTRON LITE players could play only against full NEUTRON players as RIVALS, and never as MASTER.
You could also play against NEUTRON - Mac OS X and GNU/Linux version players (once released)
Camera (FIELD SETUP):
Now you can change the camera style by setting up the FIELD in TWIRL mode.
This option will make camera follows the pod's direction, making the spacial orientation easier.
If you prefer the old camera system, just set it as FIELD FIXED.
Sound:
Now the sound setting is on the start-up. You can enable sound or leave it disable to hear your preferred soundtracks.
Controls:
The game controls are simple, just tap the LEFT (RED) part of the screen to turn left, and the right part to turn RIGHT (BLUE).
If you get confused with the POD's movement just look at your guides colors. The guides (the 2 little squares ,red - blue, that you have near your pod) will help you to know where is relative left and right.
Press the RED part of the screen to go red direction and BLUE part to go the blue direction.
Control Tricks:
If your an advanced user, you can try to use advanced controls.
When you drag your finger in LEFT part of the screen with a RIGHT to LEFT movement the pod will turn opposite direction.
Otherwise if you do it LEFT to RIGHT the pod will move in Zigzag drawing an "S".
Same if you do it with the RIGHT part of the screen (but opposite).
Score:
In Neutron the score is descending, this means that you start a Level with a fixed number of points. As more long your tail is in combat mode, less points you get. Be the fastest destroying the enemy's tail and you'll get more points. :)
